Sugar Scoop

Description:   Sugar scoop made in the form of a coal scuttle from a 75mm French casing.  Base made from timing fuze and handle and holder for scoop [missing] made from a copper driving band from an artillery shell. Engraved zig-zag work bird on each side and engraved flowers with zig-zag work background on top. Engraved 'Vimey' [sic] 1917.  Probably made by a Canadian soldier. Shell dated 1916 on headstamp.  6" long by 5" high.
