Description:   Aluminum match box cover made in France by German prisoner of war for Charles C. Norton of Columbus, Ohio.  Norton enlisted on July 10, 1917 and served in France in the Meuse-Argonne offensive, the Ypres-Lys offensive and with the Army of Occupation in Germany. He was discharged from the AEF on February 15, 1919.  21/4" by 11/2" wide by 3/4" high.
