French Cockerels

Description: Shell casing flower vase made from French 75mm shell.  French cockerel in relief grasping a German helmet in one foot and an artillery projectile in the other. Decorative embossed design at top and bottom and 'Verdun' beneath cockerel.
Top slightly flared. Design accentuated by white substance rubbed into the design. Shell date obliterated by reloading marks on headstamp.  111/2"tall.
